RN$ started as one question: what happens when gothic architecture meets subway grammar? Founded in 2023 by Dominic Williams — graphic designer, lifelong New Yorker, twice-ignored-by-streetwear. No campaigns. No drops. Just two lines, one brand, constant work.
Heavy cotton, dropped shoulders, raw edges. Oversized fits that feel like you're wearing the inside of a cathedral. Black, charcoal, bone — never bright, never loud. The Gothic line draws from European cathedrals, brutalist typography, and the silence before a storm. Every piece is designed to disappear into shadow while making you impossible to miss.
Shop GothicHand-drawn tag prints, wildstyle embroidery, spray-paint texture on every seam. 260–280gsm cotton that holds up like concrete. The Graffiti line draws from subway cars, warehouse walls, and the energy of a city moving too fast to care what you think. Every piece is designed to be seen — to mark territory, to state presence, to leave a trace.
Shop GraffitiBecause the same person who stands in the back of a dark room in a raw-hem tee is also the same person who puts their name on every wall they walk past. Gothic and graffiti aren't opposites. They're the same impulse — the need to make something permanent in a world that forgets everything.
I grew up on the subway. Not metaphorically — literally, my mom worked nights and I was riding the A train until midnight most nights. I saw my first tag when I was eight. I didn't know what it was, but I knew I wanted to be the one making it.
Years later, I'm a graphic designer. I work on brands that want to look interesting but never want to actually take a risk. That got old.
RN$ is the brand I wanted to exist when I was twenty. Clothes that don't explain themselves. Two lines that shouldn't work together but do. Pieces that feel like they belong to a world that most brands are too scared to show.
This isn't a collection. It's a statement. Buy or don't. Either way — respect the craft.
